All things considered, this adapter is a bit on the expensive side and should be purchased in case you REALLY need it. I bought it because it allows me to increase my grip and reach when working with certain bits and sockets. You can use a hex to 1/4" adapter to easily fit your sockets onto your multitool. The material seems to be good. The bit retention is also excellent. You can use normal non-Leatherman bits with this adapter if you chose to. Overall very happy with my purchase and the service from Knives and Tools. I can recommend this product to people who value compact EDC tools that can fit in your pocket and expand your capabilities without having to carry additional tool sets. If you're buying it as a gimmick, it's a bit expensive though.
