Amare Knives Pocket Peak Fixed, stonewash orange G10, vaststaand mes

This knive is very interesting. It has quite a unique and very useful design. You get a lot of knife in a very lightweight package. The jimping on the bottom and the top of the blade is very well executed. It gives the right amount of traction without being aggressive. The blade itself is slender, pointy and very slicy without being fragile. The handel is not the most ergonomic, but more than adequate. The fit and finish is very good, especially for the price you pay. The machining is, as far as I can tell, perfect. The only things that feel a little bit more budget is the handel in g10 and the kydex sheet. But everything is still very functional and orange (witch is always good in my book). The steel is also very well hardened and keeps it's edge longer then my Mora Garberg (same steel). I have used this knive while motocamping and on famillie weekends. It has served me well in the kitchen, making kindling for starting fires and doing some lite woodwork. It is a knife that you can carry when you don't want to carry a heavy fixed blade, but still need to carry more then a small fixed blade or a folder. I really think this knive is well worth the money. It is unique and very capable.
